Arctic Strongman: "Who is the Iceman?"
A new chapter of history is written in Kuusamo Lapland Region in March, when the most demanding strongman competition of the world brings together the world's toughest men. The first ever arctic strongman competition challenges 10 of the strongest men of the world to battle for the title of Iceman.

The one-day competition will be held in the surroundings of Ruka Fell. Six events will be completed in three unique settings which integrate the history and culture of the area with unique snow and ice constructions, in the magnificent wilderness which the region is famous for.
Extreme conditions with snow and ice
The competition will be brutal in the exotic and testing environment. Contestants arrive from around the world, and some of them have never set foot in snowy or icy conditions. There is no weather clause or frost limit.
All this will be televised and the one-hour programme will reach 900 million viewers all over the world. In Finland the competition will be seen on MTV3 and MAX channels, and it will also be aired by ten international channels including Eurosport. Visit Finland (VisitFinland.com) is sponsoring this event in order to promote winter tourism to Finland.
