Visa free cruises from Helsinki to St Petersburg
Ferry operator St. Peter Line has started a visa free ferry connection between Finland and Russian Federation.
Five voyages a week
The cruises depart from Helsinki every Thursday and Saturday at 19.00. From St.Petersburg the departures are on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
The cost for a cruise starts from 255 € / B-category cabin for 2 persons (no meals included). Services omboard include f.i. restaurants, duty-free shops, hair dresser, sauna, swimming pool, cinema and casino. There have been changes in Russian Legislation and the visa free regime will be extended for ferry passengers of all nationalities traveling to the ports of Russian Federation. Passengers from all over the world will be able to visit Saint-Petersburg within 72 hours without Russian visa in case they purchase a shuttle bus ticket (15 €). If the passenger stays overnight in St.Petersburg it is obligatory to have a hotel reservation as well. "Princess Maria" is a 34 000 GRT modern passenger ferry which can accommodate up to 1638 passengers on board and carry up to 395 vehicles. The vessel was built in Finland. 3.5.2010
