Ice Park at the Helsinki Central Railway Station square open
The Helsinki Ice Park next to the Central Railway Station is now open for ice-skaters. Visitors can either bring their own ice-skates or rent them at the Ice park. For beginners and children the Ice Park offers guided lessons. Cafeteria serves hot and cold beverages and snacks.
Opening hours and admission fee
Opening hours are Mon – Thurs 10-21, Fri – Sat 10-22 and Sun 10-21.
Tickets cost 4€ for adults and 2€ for children under 18 and students. The rental cost for a pair of ice-skates are 5€ for adults and 3.5€ for children and students. Depending on the weather it will be open till the end of March 2010. Watch the video here!
