Divertissements

La Finlande accueille un festival d'opéra mondialement connu ayant pour cadre un château médiéval. Par ailleurs, des spectacles de théâtre en plein air ou de marionnettes sont proposés dans de nombreux endroits à travers tout le pays, car l'été est l'occasion de manifestations culturelles et de divertissement dans pratiquement tous les villages et hameaux.

La plupart des grandes villes possèdent un orchestre symphonique : on en compte deux à Helsinki, plus un autre à proximité de Tapiola, ainsi que deux opéras, un ancien et un récent, et d'innombrables théâtres.
 
Si vous préférez vous défouler sur une piste de danse plutôt qu'assister à un spectacle, n'hésitez pas. Toutes les villes comptent des clubs et des discothèques, et des bals sont organisés à la campagne dans des pavillons en plein air. Vous pourrez vous adonner à votre passion pour le tango, la valse, la polka et le fox-trot. Enfilez donc vos chaussures de danse et ne soyez pas timide. Lancez-vous, tendez votre main et dites simplement « Saanko luvan? » (« Puis-je ? »).
